About

Eileen

Eileen received her Associates Degree in Art from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and worked for a number of years in a stained glass studio before marrying and raising her 3 daughters in rural upstate New York. Her artistic passion was channeled into educating and assisting women and children through being a La Leche League leader for over a decade and founding the Home Educators Group of Schoharie. In furthering her enthusiasm to help and heal others she returned to nursing school, but found a disdain for the emotional disconnection the field required. During hurricane Irene as she sat in her hospital bed recovering from emergency surgery she realized the imperative need to change everything about her life. That pivotal moment opened the gateway for gifts that emerged to assist others in finding health and well being.

Initially ( 2011 ) working with forerunners in the field of energy medicine Eileen continued her personal journey of healing as well as developing her gifts to assist others. For the passed 10 years she has worked with Ben Oofana who is a gifted healer trained in both Traditional Native American Medicine ( from the last surviving doctor of the Kiowa tribe) and the Chinese internal arts of Xin Yi Quan-Baguazhang. Additionally, she has been working with Shinzen Young since 2019 further developing her mindful meditation skillset. Her regular practice of Chi Gong and vision questing in the wilderness continually purifies her body, mind and spirit to be a clear and effective conduit for facilitating the healing of other people. This sets her work apart from traditional energy healers. She has completed 16 vision quests to date which involve fasting alone for four days and nights without food and water exposed to the elements in nature.

Eileen assists women with  support, awareness and empowerment to become their best self through mindful, somatic and alternative healing practices.

Her Adventures in Mindfulness Series has been presented at numerous libraries throughout the Mohawk Valley Library System in New York, Delhi University, Basset Hospital, the Institute for Spiritual Development and the Gathering Place.
